Maintenance and Cleaning of your CPAP / BiPAP Equipment

Avoid harsh cleaning products, which may damage your supplies, or leave harmful residue.

Do not use products containing alcohol or bleach to clean accessories.

Talk with your customer service representative to see when you are eligible for new supplies.

Mask / Nasal Pillows:

  • Wipe down or wash every day with mild soap and warm water
  • Rinse and air-dry
  • Premoistened wipes designed specifically for cleaning PAP masks may also be used
  • Cleaning your mask will also remove facial oils to optimize your mask’s seal.

Humidifier Chamber:

  • Empty any leftover water
  • Air-dry
  • Refill with fresh distilled water at bedtime


  • Hang dry after each use to allow moisture to drain from the tubing.

Mask, Headgear, Tubing, and Humidifier Chamber:

  • Fill a sink or basin with warm water and a few drops of mild hand soap or ammonia free dish detergent
  • Fully wash mask, headgear, tubing, and humidifier chamber
  • Rinse and air-dry

Non-Disposable Filter:

  • Rinse washable filter with warm water
  • Blot dry with a towel and allow to air dry completely before reinstalling.


  • Ensure the unit is unplugged and wipe down the outside with a slightly damp cloth to clean

Humidifier Chamber:

  • Soak in a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 3 parts tap water for 30 minutes
  • Rinse and air-dry

Disposable Filter:

  • Replace
